Come along and visit our Club.   We love our gardens, but often need some advice!

We provide morning tea, followed by a guest speaker, raffle, bring and buy table, display bench and Barry’s talk on ‘show and tell’.       

If you have any questions, please ask a Committee Member, or any Member who will available to ‘meet and greet’ visitors. 

Membership is $30.00 the 1st year (includes Club Badge) then $20.00 per year from then.

Bring & Buy Table

Members are encouraged to bring one or two plants or home produce (i.e. eggs) with an approximate value of $10 to ‘swap’.  You are given a ticket in exchange and after the talks, the numbers are randomly drawn, you pay 50 cents and pick an item from the table.


We have an extensive library where you can borrow a book/DVD for a month. The Library also houses our free Seed Bank.

Plant Sales

If you have surplus plants, pots etc. of good quality, you can bring them along to the Club to sell - 10% commission goes to the Club.


A Club Diary of all the club activities and information will be given to you upon payment of your membership fees.

Display Bench

Members bring along a favourite plant. 

(14 categories). Category winners selected each month. There is also a lucky draw prize every month for all exhibitors, and there is a prize and shield for the overall winner at the end of the year.

Barry's - Show and Tell

Barry is a very entertaining member. Each month he gives a light-hearted talk on what is growing - or not growing - in his and other members gardens.

Visits & Bus Trips

Visits to members gardens are arranged on the 3rd Tuesday each month. These are followed by lunch at a local tavern/restaurant.  We organise overnight bus trips and trips to other groups Field days during the year. In 2016 members traveled to the exotic gardens of Singapore, 2017 members visited the beautiful gardens of New Zealand taking in The Taranaki Garden Festival, 2018 members enjoyed the magnificence of the Melbourne Flower Show and in 2019 will travel to the Qld Garden Expo in Nambour.

Guest Speakers

A variety of speakers talk on gardening and community topics.
